Christmas at the Zoo

9:30 am – 11:00 am

On Saturday, December 7th, the Pana’ewa Zoo will be hosting its annual Christmas at the zoo.  You don’t want to miss this event.

All the animals will be getting a special treat.  Watch the spider monkeys open their Christmas boxes filled with treats that they love.  And you don’t want to miss the Tigers getting their special Christmas present, not to mention all the rest of the zoo animals.

It all starts at 9:30 am Saturday morning when everyone meets at the spider monkey enclosure (‘primadome’).

Friends of the Pana’ewa Zoo (FOZ) was formed in 1981 and received its nonprofit status in 1986.  FOZ promotes the Pana’ewa  Zoo, assists in providing for special zoo needs, and enhances the lives of the resident animals wherever possible without interfering with the operations of this municipal zoo, which is owned and operated by the County of Hawaii.
